In short: an incentive trip to Sardinia is built around three variables, the season, the group size and the service level. The cost does not come from a fixed price list but from how these variables combine. Here is how a programme is structured and what information we need to give you an accurate quote.
Why Sardinia works for an incentive
One destination offers sea, countryside, food and wine and quality accommodation, with short transfers between experiences. For a corporate group this means varied programmes without changing country and without days lost in transit. The most requested experiences are the ones that are hard to replicate elsewhere: a day on a boat along the coast, a vineyard lunch with tasting, a visit to an inland village with local artisans.
When to go
- May and June: mild weather, nature at its best, sea still cool but fine for boat outings.
- September and October: warm sea, fewer crowds and hotel costs generally lower than in high season. This is the period we recommend most for groups.
- July and August: not recommended for groups: flights and hotels are more expensive and availability is limited.
- November to March: possible for meetings, conventions and food, wine or cultural programmes, less so for sea activities.
How a three-day programme is structured
This is a typical outline, always adapted to the group's goals:
- Day 1: arrival, hotel transfer, a work meeting if needed and a welcome dinner with local products.
- Day 2: team building activity or a boat outing, lunch at a winery or vineyard, then a free evening or a gala dinner.
- Day 3: a work session or cultural visit, then transfer to the airport.
For longer programmes, up to a week, we add inland excursions and time dedicated to local culture and traditions. See our page on incentive trips and team building.
What drives the cost
- Number of participants and group profile.
- Season and length of the programme.
- Hotel category and type of accommodation.
- Transport: coaches, boats, private transfers.
- Meeting rooms and audio-visual equipment, if required.
- Chosen experiences: a private boat with lunch weighs differently on the budget than a cultural visit.
- Flights and ferries: normally excluded from the quote, though we can help you choose the best options.
This is why we do not publish a fixed price: two groups of the same size can have very different costs. Once we receive the details of your group, we reply with a tailored proposal within 48 working hours.
Logistics: airports and getting around
The main airports are Alghero, Olbia and Cagliari. The choice depends on where the programme takes place and on the flights available on your dates, so it is best to check connections before fixing the venue. Distances in Sardinia are longer than they look: Alghero to Cagliari, for example, is about three hours by car.
What we need for a quote
- Number of people and group profile.
- Dates or expected period.
- Approximate budget per person.
- Goal: sales reward, team building, convention, product launch.
- Preferences on activities and hotel level.
- The group's arrival airport.
